EVVF European Vovinam Championship 2012

October 16, 2010: Creation of the EVVF - European Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo Federation

Paris, 10:00 AM - The meeting starts on time at the headquarters of the FFKDA, the French Federation of Karate and Associated Disciplines.

Opens the meeting Master Vittorio Cera, as Secretary of the Committee for the new Federation. The session starts with a minute of silence in memory of Grand Master Le Sang and then a introductory speech on the Grand Master, on the nomination of Master Nguyen Van Chieu and on the Vovinam changes in the last few months, because there is no doubt that 2010 was marked by large changes. The 2010 is setting the history of Vovinam.

The birth of the European Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo Federation is a great chapter in the history of Vovinam given by our continent and is the first step to the great growth that Vovinam will have throughout Europe.

After more than 8 hours of meetings between representatives of 11 European countries and members of FFKDA, has been definitively established the EVVF, European Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo Federation, the only official European Federation recognized by Vietnam and the World Vovinam Federation (WVVF).

Then, the newly formed board of directors, which is listed below, has decided the rules for the European Championships, a fundamental point for the development of the discipline.

The European Championship held on Tenerife, Spain, in November 2010, was officially the 1st EVVF European Vovinam Championship.
